The Gigasense Board of Directors today appointed Maria Mörnborg, 44, new Chief Executive Officer of Gigasense. Ms. Mörnborg will assume the position on November 1st, 2011. Her previous position was at Mobile Climate Control where she was Sales Director. Ms. Mörnborg has a technical background with several years’ experience from sales leading positions on a growing global market with technology-intense products, particularly in container handling, mining, construction and other commercial vehicle industry.
- I look forward to working with Mörnborg and I am confident that her broad experience in Mobile Climate Control and her work on an expanding international market is of great value now when Gigasense is growing both in Sweden and on new markets, says Fredrik Mannerheim, Chairman of Gigasense.

The measurement and technology company Gigasense, with its subsidiary JK Lab Instrument is a technology-intense group of companies with more than 20 skilled employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 40 million.

Saarstahl AG selects PIAB Overload Protection System for Overhead Traveling Crane (Capacity: 215 ton Melted Steel!) No. S266. In strong competition with other suppliers Gigasense AB received the order to deliver an overload protection system to Saahrstahl AG, which should monitor the load in the crane and switch off at overload, uneven loading and at slack rope condition. Additionally, the maintenance department also specified the requirement recording of the hoist operations as per FEM9755-3, FEM 9511, ISO 12482-1.
